Jamber Threads in Busan

#ThreadLift · #LineRefinement · #CollagenRenewal · #NaturalLift

Jamber is a thread lift planned around your degree of sagging and loss of elasticity. The threads lift loosened facial lines and encourage collagen renewal for a natural lifting effect.

Quick answer: Jamber threads are dissolvable lifting threads placed under the skin to lift sagging areas such as the cheeks, jowls and nasolabial folds while stimulating collagen. At Art of Shine Clinic in Seomyeon, Busan, treatment takes about 20–30 minutes under local anaesthetic, with mild tightness and swelling for 2–3 days. Results usually last about 6–12 months. Prices start from KRW 100,000 for one thread (excl. 10% VAT).

What is Jamber Threads?

A thread lift uses fine dissolvable threads placed under the skin through a needle or cannula. Lifting threads grip the tissue and reposition it, while the body gradually forms new collagen around each thread. Jamber threads are planned according to how much sagging you have and where.

Jamber threads are often combined with fine Mono Threads for skin quality or MINT Threads for a stronger anchor, and with filler for folds. Art of Shine Clinic offers ready-made lifting packages for the nasolabial folds and jowls.

How Jamber Threads works

Threads are placed under the skin along planned vectors. They lift and hold loosened tissue, and as they dissolve the body builds collagen around them, improving firmness.

  1. Consultation: your doctor assesses sagging and skin elasticity and plans the number and direction of threads.
  2. Thread insertion: after local anaesthetic, threads are placed through small entry points in about 20–30 minutes.
  3. After: you may feel tightness for a few days; follow the aftercare advice while the threads settle.

Why patients choose Jamber Threads

  • Planned for your sagging — thread number and direction are tailored.
  • Refines loosened lines — lifts cheeks, jowls and folds.
  • Collagen renewal — firmness improves as the threads dissolve.
  • No surgery — small entry points and short recovery.

Who is Jamber Threads for — and when we suggest something else

Good candidates

  • You notice early sagging along the cheeks or nasolabial area.
  • Your facial lines look softer and less defined than before.
  • You want lift without surgery or a long recovery.
  • You are open to combining threads with filler for folds.
  • You can avoid wide mouth opening and hard foods for 1–2 weeks.

We may suggest something else if…

  • Your sagging is advanced, with heavy loose skin. A surgical opinion may be more realistic than threads.
  • You want tightening without needles. Ulthera or Thermage FLX uses energy instead.
  • Your main issue is skin texture, not sagging. Mono Threads targets quality rather than lift.
  • Your concern is volume loss, not drooping. Wrinkle Filler may help more than threads.
  • You have an infection on the face, a bleeding disorder, or are pregnant or breastfeeding. We postpone.

What happens at your Jamber Threads session in Seomyeon

  1. Message us on WhatsApp first. Send front and angled photos, relaxed and smiling. Tell us your concern, any past threads or filler, and your flight date.
  2. Consultation with Dr. Park. She checks how much and where you are sagging, skin thickness and fat. She explains how many threads she suggests and whether filler helps.
  3. Preparation & numbing. Local anaesthetic is used along the planned paths. Entry points and vectors are marked while you sit up.
  4. The treatment. Placement takes about 20–30 minutes. You feel pressure and pulling, and the lift is visible straight away.
  5. Out the door & follow-up. Mild tightness and swelling last 2–3 days. Message us if pain increases, a thread is visible, or dimpling persists.

How Dr. Park plans your Jamber Threads treatment

Thread count and direction

Dr. Park plans Jamber by how much you sag and in which direction. Each thread follows a lifting vector. Our listed options range from JAMBER Thread: 1 Thread to JAMBER Threads: 4 Threads.

Combining with filler and other threads

Folds often need filler as well as lift. That is why packages pair 4 threads with Nasolabial Fold Filler 2cc. The Nasolabial Fold Mini Lift adds 4 MINT Mono Threads and Designed Filler 2cc. The Jowl Mini Lift uses 6 MINT Threads, 2 JAMBER Threads and Philos Designed Filler 1cc.

Natural results

Dr. Park avoids over-tightening, which can look pulled. Repeat treatment is usually every 6–12 months as threads dissolve.

Jamber Threads results: what to expect and when

  • Immediately: a lifted contour is visible, with some tightness or small dimples.
  • Days 2–7: swelling and tightness ease and the face settles into a more natural line.
  • Weeks 4–12: collagen forms around the threads, gradually improving firmness.
  • Months 6–12: the threads slowly dissolve and the effect fades; how long it lasts varies by person.

Side effects, risks and who should avoid Jamber Threads

Thread lifting is generally well tolerated when performed by a doctor. Possible side effects include:

  • Swelling, bruising, tenderness and a tight feeling for several days
  • Small dimples, puckering or slight asymmetry, which usually settle as swelling goes down
  • Discomfort when opening the mouth wide or chewing for 1–2 weeks
  • Rarely, a thread you can feel or see under the skin, thread exposure or infection, which may need removal or treatment

Not suitable if you: are pregnant or breastfeeding; have an active skin infection or inflammation in the area; have a bleeding disorder or take blood thinners that cannot be paused safely; have an active autoimmune condition; or tend to form keloid scars. Tell your doctor about all medications and any previous threads or fillers in the area.

Jamber Threads results timeline: when results appear and peak, and how long they last (About 6–12 months (varies by area))

Jamber Threads vs MINT Threads, Mono Threads and Ulthera: which should you choose?

Threads lift by repositioning tissue, while energy devices tighten from within.

Treatment How it works Best for Downtime Results last
Jamber Threads Dissolvable lifting threads tailored to sagging Early sagging, nasolabial and cheek lines Tightness and swelling 2–3 days About 6–12 months
MINT Threads Dissolvable cog threads anchor tissue Firmer lift of cheeks, jowls, forehead Tightness and swelling 2–3 days About 6–12 months
Mono Threads Smooth threads stimulate collagen Elasticity and texture, not lift Tightness and swelling 2–3 days About 6–12 months
Ulthera Focused ultrasound heats deep layers Tightening without needles None About 6–12 months

Choose Jamber for tailored lift of mild to moderate sagging. Choose MINT where a stronger anchor is needed. Choose Ulthera if you prefer no needles and no downtime.

Aftercare after Jamber Threads

  • For 1–2 weeks, avoid opening your mouth very wide or chewing hard foods.
  • On the day of treatment, skip saunas, hot baths, hard exercise and alcohol.
  • Avoid facial massage or strong pressure on the area for about 3–4 weeks.
  • Tightness, swelling or bruising may occur and fades gradually.
  • Try not to sleep face-down or on your side for a while.

Downtime after Jamber Threads, and flying home

The first 24–72 hours bring tightness, mild swelling and sometimes bruising. Chewing and smiling widely may feel stiff. You can sightsee gently, but choose soft foods and avoid hard chewing. Skip saunas, jjimjilbang, hot baths, strenuous exercise and alcohol on the day. Keep makeup off the entry points until they close.

Avoid massage or firm pressure for about 3–4 weeks. Try not to sleep face-down or on your side for a while. Tell Dr. Park your flight date at consultation; a thread lift early in your trip leaves time for a check. Flying is generally possible, but swelling can feel tighter on a long flight. How many Jamber threads do I need?

Most people need a small number per side for early sagging. Our listed options start at one thread and include a 4-thread package.

The right number depends on how heavy the tissue is and how far it needs to move. Thin faces with mild drooping need fewer. Heavier cheeks may need more, or a combination with MINT threads. Dr. Park counts threads after examining you upright. She will also explain if filler would help more than extra threads. You can always add threads later if you want a little more lift.

Why does my face feel tight after a thread lift?

Tightness is normal. The threads grip tissue, and the area is mildly swollen while it settles.

It is often most noticeable when chewing, yawning or smiling. Most people find it eases over the first days to weeks. Avoid opening your mouth wide or chewing hard foods for 1–2 weeks. Small dimples or uneven spots can appear early and often settle. Tell us if pain is increasing, the area is hot and red, or a dimple does not improve. Sleeping on your back with your head slightly raised can make the first nights easier.

Can I combine Jamber threads with filler on the same day?

Yes, and our packages are designed for this. Threads lift sagging tissue, while filler restores lost volume in folds.

Combining often gives a more balanced result than either alone. The JAMBER 4 Threads + Nasolabial Fold Filler 2cc package is one example. Dr. Park plans the order and amount so the two work together. If you are prone to swelling, she may suggest spacing them, especially if you are flying soon. Ask how the combined plan affects aftercare and price before you start.

Jamber Threads FAQ

How much do Jamber threads cost in Busan?

At Art of Shine Clinic in Seomyeon, one Jamber thread is KRW 100,000 and four threads are KRW 290,000 in the AOS Lifting Package, excluding 10% VAT. Combination lifts with filler are also available.

Does a Jamber thread lift hurt?

Local anaesthetic is used, so most people feel pressure and pulling rather than sharp pain. The treatment takes about 20–30 minutes. Some soreness and tightness are normal for a few days.

How long do Jamber threads last?

Results usually last about 6–12 months, depending on the area, the number of threads and your skin. Collagen formed around the threads helps the effect last, and many patients repeat the treatment every 6–12 months to maintain the lift.

Can I fly or go sightseeing after a thread lift?

You can usually go about your day, but expect tightness and mild swelling for 2–3 days. Avoid wide mouth opening, hard foods, saunas and alcohol. If you are flying soon, mention it during your consultation.

Jamber threads or MINT threads: which should I choose?

Both are dissolvable lifting threads. MINT threads use a cog structure to anchor sagging tissue, while Jamber threads are planned to your degree of sagging. Your doctor may combine them in one lift.

Who performs Jamber thread lifts at Art of Shine Clinic?

Dr. Park Yoon-soo, our Head Director, plans and places your threads herself. She trained at Kyungpook National University School of Medicine and interned at Asan Medical Center.

Do foreign patients pay the same listed price?

Our listed prices are in KRW and exclude 10% VAT. Payment is made at the clinic on the day. Event prices change, so confirm the current price on WhatsApp before you visit.

Do I need a consultation before a thread lift?

Yes. Dr. Park examines your face and medical history before planning any threads. Message us on WhatsApp to arrange a time; we are open weekdays 10:00–20:00 and Saturdays 10:00–16:00.
