Aftercare while you travel in Busan
A little planning helps you enjoy your trip and your results. Always follow the specific instructions your doctor gives you.
In short: If you are having a skin treatment in Busan while travelling, book treatments with longer recovery early in your trip, protect your skin from the sun, skip saunas, hot baths, hard exercise and alcohol on the day, keep your hands off the treated area and keep skin moisturised. Tell your doctor about any flight at your consultation.

Six tips for travellers
1. Plan the timing
Book treatments with longer recovery early in your trip, so you have time to rest before flying home. Ask your doctor what to expect for your treatment.
2. Protect your skin from the sun
Many treatments call for careful sunscreen use for 1–2 weeks afterwards. Pack sunscreen, a hat and sunglasses for sightseeing.
3. Skip the sauna on the day
On the day of treatment, avoid saunas, hot baths, strenuous exercise and alcohol — so save the jjimjilbang for another day.
4. Hands off
Do not scratch, rub or massage the treated area unless your doctor tells you to.
5. Keep skin hydrated
Keep your skin well moisturised to help it calm down after treatment.
6. Ask before you fly
If you have a flight soon after your treatment, tell your doctor during the consultation so they can advise you.
Each treatment page has its own aftercare section — for exampleBotox aftercare.
