Your first visit to Art of Shine Clinic in Busan

Here is what a typical visit to our Seomyeon clinic looks like, from arrival to aftercare and payment.

In short: At your first visit to Art of Shine Clinic in Seomyeon, Busan, you check in on the 8th floor, see the doctor for a consultation, have numbing cream if your treatment needs it (often around 30 minutes), then have your treatment. Your visit, step by step

1. Arrival. Take the elevator to the 8th floor of the Burger King Building, about 3 minutes from Seomyeon Station Exit 7. Check in at reception and relax in the lounge.
2. Consultation. Your doctor looks at your skin condition, concerns and goals, and explains the recommended treatment, the procedure and precautions before you decide.

4. Treatment. Treatment times range from a few minutes to around an hour. Each treatment page lists the typical time — for exampleBotoxtakes about 5–10 minutes.
5. Aftercare and payment. You receive aftercare instructions for your treatment. Payment is made at the clinic; listed prices are in KRW and exclude 10% VAT — seeprices & payment.

Before you come: checklist

• Come with a clean face if possible, or allow time to remove makeup.
• Tell your doctor about medications, allergies and recent treatments.
• Mention any upcoming flight so the doctor can advise you.
• Plan treatments with longer recovery early in your trip.
• Bring sunglasses, a hat or a mask if you plan to go sightseeing afterwards.
• If you are having sedation, follow the fasting instructions you are given and do not plan to drive afterwards.
