Lifting Laser Treatments in Busan

Non-surgical lifting with radiofrequency (RF), microwave and focused ultrasound (HIFU) devices, including Thermage FLX, Ulthera, ONDA and Shurink Universe.

In short: Lifting lasers use heat from radiofrequency, microwave or focused ultrasound energy to tighten skin and stimulate new collagen without surgery. At Art of Shine Clinic in Seomyeon, Busan, most sessions take 30–60 minutes with numbing cream, you can return to daily life the same day, and results build over weeks and typically last about 6–12 months.

What these treatments do

All seven devices heat tissue under the skin in a controlled way. The heat tightens existing collagen and triggers the body to make new collagen over the following weeks, so skin looks firmer and lines look softer. They differ in the type of energy and how deep it reaches:

  • Focused ultrasound (HIFU) —Ulthera,Ultherapy PRIMEandShurink Universereach the deeper SMAS layer, the same layer lifted in surgical facelifts.
  • Radiofrequency (RF) —Thermage FLX,OligioXandAlltiteheat the dermis evenly for overall firmness and texture.
  • Microwave —ONDAworks on skin firmness and the fat layer together, useful for a soft jawline.

Lifting Laser FAQ

  • What is the difference between Ulthera and Thermage?

Ulthera uses focused ultrasound (HIFU) to reach the deeper SMAS layer and lift sagging tissue. Thermage FLX uses radiofrequency to heat the dermis evenly and improve firmness and fine lines. Ulthera targets depth; Thermage targets overall tightness. Some patients combine both.

  • Is there downtime after a lifting laser?

Usually no. Most people return to daily life, work or sightseeing the same day. Mild redness, swelling or tenderness can occur for a few hours to a few days, depending on the device and settings.

  • How long do lifting laser results last?

Results develop gradually over about 1–3 months as new collagen forms, and typically last about 6–12 months depending on the device, area and your skin. Many patients repeat treatment once or twice a year.

  • Does a lifting laser hurt?

You may feel heat or brief deep pricks, especially with HIFU over bony areas. Numbing cream is applied for about 30 minutes beforehand, and devices such as Thermage FLX and OligioX use cooling and vibration to reduce discomfort.

  • Can I combine lifting with filler or Botox?

Often yes. Lifting firms and tightens, filler restores volume and Botox relaxes muscle-driven lines. Your doctor will plan the order and timing during your consultation so each treatment works as intended.
