Medical Weight-Loss Injections in Busan

Prescription weight-management injections, Mounjaro (tirzepatide) and Wegovy (semaglutide), available only after a doctor consultation to check that they are suitable and safe for you.

In short: Mounjaro (tirzepatide) and Wegovy (semaglutide) are once-weekly prescription injections that act on appetite hormones (GIP/GLP-1 and GLP-1) to support weight management alongside diet and activity. At Art of Shine Clinic in Seomyeon, Busan, a doctor first checks your eligibility, health history and medicines. They are not suitable for everyone, results vary, and side effects are possible.

What these treatments do

  • Mounjarocontains tirzepatide, which acts on two gut hormone receptors (GIP and GLP-1). It is a once-weekly self-injection.
  • Wegovycontains semaglutide, which acts on the GLP-1 receptor. It is also a once-weekly self-injection.

Both help reduce appetite and slow stomach emptying, so you tend to eat less. They are prescription medicines: dose is started low and increased step by step, and they work best with changes to diet and activity. The effect continues only while you are on treatment.

Important safety information

  • Doctor assessment is required. We check your weight history, health conditions and current medicines before any prescription.
  • Common side effects are digestive: nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, constipation, bloating and reduced appetite, usually most noticeable when starting or increasing the dose.
  • Not suitable if you have a personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma (MTC) or multiple endocrine neoplasia type 2 (MEN2), are pregnant, planning pregnancy or breastfeeding, or have a history of pancreatitis. Tell the doctor about gallbladder, kidney or eye (diabetic retinopathy) problems and diabetes medicines.
  • Seek medical help for severe or persistent stomach pain, signs of an allergic reaction or ongoing vomiting.

Which is right for me?

The choice between Mounjaro and Wegovy is a medical decision made with your doctor, based on your health, eligibility, how you tolerate the medicine and availability. Neither is a cosmetic shortcut, and we do not promise a specific amount of weight loss.
