Neuramis in Busan
#KoreanFiller · #EvenParticles · #StableQuality · #VersatileUse
Neuramis is a Korean hyaluronic acid filler that has been used for many years. Its even particles and consistent quality make it a versatile choice for adding volume to the forehead, nasolabial folds and lips.
Quick answer: Neuramis is a Korean-made hyaluronic acid (HA) filler injected to restore lost volume and soften deep folds in areas such as the forehead, nasolabial folds and lips. At Art of Shine Clinic in Seomyeon, Busan, treatment takes about 10–20 minutes after 20–30 minutes of numbing cream, and most people return to normal activities straight away, with mild swelling possible. Results usually last about 6–12 months, depending on the product and area.

What is Neuramis?
Neuramis is a hyaluronic acid filler made in Korea by Medytox. Hyaluronic acid is a sugar molecule found naturally in your skin; in filler form it is cross-linked into a gel so that it stays in place and holds volume for months rather than days.
Neuramis is used to fill nasolabial folds, add soft volume to a flat forehead and shape the lips. Because it is hyaluronic acid, it can be dissolved with hyaluronidase if needed (see filler dissolving). If you are comparing brands, your doctor can also explain imported options such as Restylane and Juvederm.
How Neuramis works
Neuramis gel is placed beneath the skin where volume has been lost. It supports the fold or hollow from underneath and binds water, so the area looks fuller and smoother straight away.
- Consultation: your doctor assesses your face, discusses the look you want and decides the areas and amount.
- Treatment: after numbing cream, the filler is placed with a fine needle or blunt cannula in about 10–20 minutes.
- After: your doctor checks the shape and symmetry, and you can return to your day with mild swelling possible.
Why patients choose Neuramis
- Long-established Korean filler — used in Korean clinics for many years.
- Smooth, even gel — even particles help it spread smoothly for a natural finish.
- Versatile — suitable for the forehead, nasolabial folds and lips.
- Reversible — as a hyaluronic acid filler, it can be dissolved if needed.
Who is Neuramis for — and when we suggest something else
Good candidates
- You have moderate nasolabial folds or a flat forehead and want volume back without surgery.
- You want soft definition for the lips or chin and prefer a subtle change.
- You are trying hyaluronic acid filler for the first time and want a long-used Korean product.
- You like that HA filler can be dissolved if the shape ever needs correcting.
- You have one or two clear areas in mind rather than a full-face plan.
- You can avoid saunas, alcohol and hard workouts on the day of treatment.
We may suggest something else if…
- Your main concern is sagging rather than lost volume. A lifting treatment or a thread lift may suit you better.
- Your forehead lines appear mainly when you raise your brows. Muscle-relaxing Botox usually treats these more directly.
- You would rather see volume build slowly over weeks. A collagen stimulator like Juvelook Volume may fit that goal.
- You still have old filler you are unhappy with. We may assess it first and suggest Filler Dissolving.
- You are pregnant or breastfeeding, or have an infection or cold sore near the area. We wait until this has resolved.
What happens at your Neuramis session in Seomyeon
- Message us on WhatsApp first. Send a front and side photo of the area, your travel dates and any filler you have had before. We reply with a rough plan and available times.
- Consultation with Dr. Park. She looks at your volume loss, skin thickness and facial balance. She also checks your medical history, medicines and any earlier filler.
- Preparation & numbing. Your skin is cleansed and numbing cream is applied for about 20–30 minutes. Injection points are marked while you sit upright.
- The treatment. Injecting takes about 10–20 minutes. Most people feel pressure and brief stinging, and you see the shape in a mirror before finishing.
- Out the door & follow-up. You can return to your day straight away; mild swelling is possible. Message us if lumps, asymmetry or discomfort persist.
How Dr. Park plans your Neuramis treatment
Matching the gel to the area
Neuramis is used for several areas, including the forehead, nasolabial folds and lips. Dr. Park decides which areas truly need volume and which would look heavier with it. Deeper folds need firmer support, while lips need a softer, more even placement.
How much, and how often
There is no fixed Neuramis package on our current list. The amount is set at consultation and quoted before anything is injected. Results usually last about 6–12 months, so a top-up is typically planned every 6–12 months.
To keep things natural, she often treats conservatively first. A small adjustment later is easier than removing excess. For lips or chin balance, she may also look at mouth corners rather than adding more volume in one spot.
Neuramis results: what to expect and when
- Immediately: the change is visible as soon as treatment ends, often with some swelling.
- Days 2–7: swelling and any bruising settle.
- Weeks 2–4: the filler settles and softens; this is the right time to judge the result.
- Months 6–12: the filler is gradually absorbed and a top-up can maintain the result. Timing varies by person.
Side effects, risks and who should avoid Neuramis
Hyaluronic acid filler is generally well tolerated when performed by a doctor. Possible side effects include:
- Swelling, redness, tenderness or bruising at the injection sites (usually settles within a few days)
- Small lumps or slight unevenness, which often soften as the filler settles
- Rarely, infection, an allergic reaction or delayed lumps
- Very rarely, filler can block a blood vessel. Contact the clinic or seek urgent care immediately for severe pain, skin colour changes or changes in vision
Not suitable if you: are pregnant or breastfeeding; have an infection, cold sore or inflamed skin in the area; are allergic to hyaluronic acid filler ingredients or local anaesthetics such as lidocaine; have a history of severe allergic reactions; or have a bleeding disorder. Tell your doctor about all medications, especially blood thinners, and any previous filler or surgery in the area.
Neuramis vs Restylane, Juvederm and Juvelook Volume: which should you choose?
All four restore volume, but they differ in origin, feel and how fast results appear.
| Treatment | How it works | Best for | Downtime | Results last |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Neuramis | Korean hyaluronic acid gel adds volume immediately | Folds, forehead, lips on a sensible budget | Immediate return; mild swelling possible | About 6–12 months |
| Restylane | Swedish hyaluronic acid filler with a wide product range | Lips and contour where an imported brand is preferred | Immediate return; mild swelling possible | About 6–12 months |
| Juvederm | Smooth, cohesive imported hyaluronic acid gel | Areas that move a lot, such as around the mouth | Immediate return; mild swelling possible | About 6–12 months |
| Juvelook Volume | Stimulates collagen so volume builds gradually | Mild hollowing when you want slow change | Needle marks or swelling for 1–2 days | Varies; 3+ sessions recommended |
Choose Neuramis if you want an immediate, reversible result from a long-used Korean filler. Choose Restylane or Juvederm if you prefer an imported brand. Choose Juvelook Volume if gradual change suits you better than an instant one.

Downtime after Neuramis, and flying home
Most people walk out and carry on with their day. Mild swelling or small bruises can appear and usually fade within a few days. Do not press or massage the area. Avoid strong heat and firm massage on it for 1–2 weeks. Light makeup is usually fine from the next day if you avoid pressing on injection points.
You can sightsee the same afternoon. Skip saunas, hot baths and the jjimjilbang for at least the first day, and ideally for 1–2 weeks. Avoid alcohol and hard exercise on the day. Tell Dr. Park your flight date at consultation. If you can, leave a day or two before a long flight so we can check you if needed. More tips are in our aftercare guide for travellers.

Is Neuramis a good filler, or just a cheaper option?
Neuramis is a long-used Korean hyaluronic acid filler, not simply a budget product. Korean fillers are often priced lower than imported brands, partly because they are made locally. Like other HA fillers, it is chosen for gel consistency, the area treated and the depth needed. For folds, forehead contour and lips, many patients are happy with a Korean gel. Some people prefer an imported brand for personal reasons, and that is a valid choice. Dr. Park explains which products suit each area and why. Ask her directly if you want to compare Neuramis with Restylane or Juvederm for your face.
Can Neuramis be dissolved if I do not like the result?
Yes. Neuramis is a hyaluronic acid filler, so it can usually be broken down with hyaluronidase. This is one of the main safety advantages of HA fillers over permanent or collagen-stimulating products. Mild swelling in the first days is normal and often makes filler look larger than it will settle. For that reason, small adjustments are usually discussed after swelling has gone down. If a shape is uneven or lumpy after that, Dr. Park can assess it. She may suggest Filler Dissolving or a small correction. Severe pain, skin colour change or vision changes are different: seek urgent care straight away.
Will Neuramis in my lips look overdone?
It should not, if the amount and placement are planned carefully. Overdone lips usually come from too much product, placed too superficially, or repeated top-ups too soon. Dr. Park looks at your lip proportions, the upper-to-lower lip balance and your mouth corners. She then adds volume in small steps and checks the shape with you in a mirror. Lips move constantly, so filler there tends to fade sooner than in deeper areas. If you want shape rather than size, ask about Lip & Mouth Corner Filler. Bring photos of lips you like, and say clearly how subtle you want the change to be.
Neuramis FAQ
How much does Neuramis cost in Busan?
Neuramis is priced by the area treated and the amount of filler used. Our current list does not show a fixed Neuramis package, so message us on WhatsApp with the area you want treated. We will quote before your visit. Prices exclude 10% VAT.
Does Neuramis filler hurt?
Numbing cream is applied for about 20–30 minutes first, and many fillers also contain a local anaesthetic. Most people feel pressure and mild stinging rather than sharp pain. The injections take about 10–20 minutes, and tenderness usually settles within a day or two.
How long does Neuramis last?
Results usually last about 6–12 months. Fillers in areas that move a lot, such as the lips, tend to fade sooner, while deeper placements last longer. Your metabolism, lifestyle and the amount injected also matter, so most people repeat treatment every 6–12 months.
Can I go sightseeing or fly after Neuramis?
Yes, most people return to sightseeing straight away. Mild swelling or bruising can last a few days. Avoid saunas, hot baths, alcohol and hard exercise on the day, and avoid pressing or massaging the area for 1–2 weeks. Mention any flight during your consultation.
What is the difference between Neuramis and Restylane?
Both are hyaluronic acid fillers. Neuramis is made in Korea and is often the more affordable option, while Restylane is a long-established Swedish brand with a wide product range. Your doctor recommends one based on the area, the depth needed and your budget.
Who performs Neuramis filler at Art of Shine Clinic?
Dr. Park Yoon-soo, our Head Director, plans and performs filler treatments. She graduated from Kyungpook National University School of Medicine and trained as an intern at Asan Medical Center. You can read more on our doctors page.
Do I need a separate consultation before Neuramis?
No separate visit is usually needed. Dr. Park consults with you on the same day, before treatment, and you can still decide not to go ahead. Sending photos on WhatsApp beforehand helps us give you a rough plan and quote.
How do I pay for Neuramis as a visitor?
Payment is made at the clinic on the day of your visit. Prices are in Korean won and exclude 10% VAT. For anything else about payment, please ask us on WhatsApp before your visit.
