What is REJUVIEL?
REJUVIEL is a hyaluronic acid filler from PharmaResearch, the Korean company also known for Rejuran Healer. Like other HA fillers, it is a cross-linked gel that holds volume and attracts water, giving soft, natural-looking support beneath the skin.
It is used for nasolabial folds, hollows and contour refinement. Our head director, Dr. Park Yoon-soo, is a REJURAN & REJUVIEL Expert Member with PharmaResearch, so you can discuss the product choice in detail during your consultation (see our doctors).
How REJUVIEL works
REJUVIEL gel is placed beneath wrinkles and hollows to support them from underneath. The product and amount are matched to each area, and the result is visible straight away.
- Consultation: your doctor assesses your skin and facial balance, then chooses the product and amount for each area.
- Treatment: after numbing cream, the filler is placed with a fine needle or blunt cannula in about 10–20 minutes.
- After: your doctor checks the shape and symmetry, and you can return to your day with mild swelling possible.
Why patients choose REJUVIEL
- Tailored to each area — product and dose are matched to where you need support.
- Softens wrinkles and volume loss — smooths deep folds and fills hollows.
- Design guided by facial balance — aims for a natural, proportionate result.
- Experienced doctor — our head director is a REJUVIEL Expert Member.
Who is REJUVIEL for — and when we suggest something else
Good candidates
- You have mild to moderate volume loss in one or two areas.
- You want deeper folds softened without changing your features.
- You prefer a filler with imported ingredients, priced per 1cc.
- You would like a plan where product and amount are chosen area by area.
- You want a reversible hyaluronic acid result you can see on the day.
- You are open to starting small and adding more later if needed.
We may suggest something else if…
- Your concern is skin texture or dullness rather than volume. A skin booster such as Rejuran Healer targets skin quality.
- Your lines are mainly from expression, such as frown lines. Botox relaxes the muscle behind them.
- You want a gradual, collagen-based change. Juvelook Volume builds volume over a course.
- Your skin has started to sag. A lifting treatment or threads may suit you better.
- You have an infection or cold sore near the area, or are pregnant or breastfeeding. Treatment waits.
What happens at your REJUVIEL session in Seomyeon
- Message us on WhatsApp first. Send clear photos of the area and tell us which lines or hollows bother you. Add your travel dates and any recent filler.
- Consultation with Dr. Park. She checks your skin condition, facial balance and the depth of each fold. She then suggests how many 1cc syringes are realistic.
- Preparation & numbing. The skin is cleansed and numbing cream is applied for about 20–30 minutes. Points are marked with you sitting upright.
- The treatment. Injecting takes about 10–20 minutes. Expect pressure and brief stinging, and a mirror check before finishing.
- Out the door & follow-up. Return to your day straight away. Seek urgent care for severe pain, skin colour or vision changes, and message us if discomfort persists.
How Dr. Park plans your REJUVIEL treatment
REJUVIEL treatment is tailored area by area. Skin condition and facial balance guide both the product choice and the volume injected.
Starting with 1cc
Our listed price is for REJUVIEL filler with imported ingredients, 1cc. Many single concerns start with one syringe. Dr. Park tells you at consultation if an area realistically needs more.
Depth and placement
Deeper folds need support from below, while softer areas need a finer, more even layer. She avoids filling every line, because some shadow keeps a face looking natural. Results usually last about 6–12 months, so maintenance is planned every 6–12 months. If skin quality is also a concern, she may suggest pairing filler with Rejuran Healer on a separate plan.
REJUVIEL results: what to expect and when
- Immediately: the change is visible as soon as treatment ends, often with some swelling.
- Days 2–7: swelling and any bruising settle.
- Weeks 2–4: the filler settles and softens; this is the right time to judge the result.
- Months 6–12: the filler is gradually absorbed and a top-up can maintain the result. Timing varies by person.
Side effects, risks and who should avoid REJUVIEL
Hyaluronic acid filler is generally well tolerated when performed by a doctor. Possible side effects include:
- Swelling, redness, tenderness or bruising at the injection sites (usually settles within a few days)
- Small lumps or slight unevenness, which often soften as the filler settles
- Rarely, infection, an allergic reaction or delayed lumps
- Very rarely, filler can block a blood vessel. Contact the clinic or seek urgent care immediately for severe pain, skin colour changes or changes in vision
Not suitable if you: are pregnant or breastfeeding; have an infection, cold sore or inflamed skin in the area; are allergic to hyaluronic acid filler ingredients or local anaesthetics such as lidocaine; have a history of severe allergic reactions; or have a bleeding disorder. Tell your doctor about all medications, especially blood thinners, and any previous filler or surgery in the area.
REJUVIEL vs Neuramis and Juvederm: which should you choose?
All three are hyaluronic acid fillers, so the choice is about feel, origin and budget.
| Treatment | How it works | Best for | Downtime | Results last |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| REJUVIEL | Hyaluronic acid filler chosen and dosed by area | Folds and volume loss, priced per 1cc | Immediate return; mild swelling possible | About 6–12 months |
| Neuramis | Long-used Korean hyaluronic acid filler | Forehead, folds and lips | Immediate return; mild swelling possible | About 6–12 months |
| Juvederm | Smooth, cohesive imported hyaluronic acid gel | Mobile areas such as around the mouth | Immediate return; mild swelling possible | About 6–12 months |
Choose REJUVIEL if you want a clear per-1cc price with imported ingredients. Choose Neuramis for a long-used Korean gel. Choose Juvederm if you prefer that imported brand for a mobile area.

Downtime after REJUVIEL, and flying home
In the first 24–72 hours, mild swelling, bruising or tenderness can occur. Small lumps can also be felt at first. Avoid pressing or massaging the area. Follow the doctor’s advice on alcohol, saunas and exercise. Light makeup is usually fine the next day if you avoid pressing on injection points.
Most people sightsee the same day. Avoid saunas and the jjimjilbang for at least the first day, longer if advised. Skip alcohol and hard exercise on the day. Tell Dr. Park your flight date at consultation. If possible, keep a day or two free before flying. Severe pain, skin colour change or vision change needs urgent care. See our aftercare tips for travellers.

How many syringes of REJUVIEL will I need?
Many single concerns start with 1cc, but it depends on the area and how much volume has been lost. A mild fold may need one syringe. Several areas, or deeper hollowing, usually need more. Dr. Park assesses depth, skin thickness and facial balance before suggesting an amount. Starting conservatively is common, because adding later is simpler than reducing. If she thinks 1cc will not give a visible change, she will tell you. You will know the plan and price before treatment begins. Send photos on WhatsApp first for a rough estimate.
Can REJUVIEL and Rejuran be done on the same day?
Sometimes, but it depends on the areas and on your skin that day. REJUVIEL adds volume to folds and hollows. Rejuran Healer improves skin quality through small, shallow injections. They act on different concerns, so combining them can make sense. Treating the same area with both on one day may increase swelling and make it harder to judge filler shape. Dr. Park may prefer to treat different areas or to stage them. Rejuran usually works as a course, 2–4 weeks apart. Ask her which order suits your stay in Busan.
What does “imported ingredients” mean for REJUVIEL?
It is how the listed package describes this filler, and you should ask Dr. Park for product details. In general, filler brands differ in hyaluronic acid source, cross-linking and gel firmness. These affect how a filler feels, how it spreads and which areas it suits. Ingredient origin alone does not make one filler right for everyone. Dr. Park is a REJURAN & REJUVIEL Expert Member (PharmaResearch). She can explain the product and how it compares with Neuramis or Restylane. Ask to see the product box or label if you would like.
REJUVIEL FAQ
How much does REJUVIEL cost in Busan?
REJUVIEL filler with imported ingredients is KRW 149,000 for 1cc at Art of Shine Clinic in Seomyeon. That is reduced from KRW 287,000 as an AOS Aesthetic Package (excl. 10% VAT). How many syringes you need depends on the areas treated.
Does REJUVIEL filler hurt?
Numbing cream is applied for about 20–30 minutes first, and many fillers also contain a local anaesthetic. Most people feel pressure and mild stinging rather than sharp pain. The injections take about 10–20 minutes, and tenderness usually settles within a day or two.
How long does REJUVIEL last?
Results typically last about 6–12 months, depending on the product chosen and the area treated. Areas that move a lot fade sooner than deeper, more static areas. Your metabolism and lifestyle also play a part, and a top-up maintains the result.
Can I go sightseeing or fly after REJUVIEL?
Yes, most people return to sightseeing straight away. Mild swelling or bruising can last a few days. Avoid saunas, hot baths, alcohol and hard exercise on the day, and avoid pressing or massaging the area. Mention any flight during your consultation.
What is the difference between REJUVIEL and Rejuran Healer?
REJUVIEL is a hyaluronic acid filler that adds volume to folds and hollows. Rejuran Healer is a polynucleotide (PN) skin booster that improves skin quality and texture rather than adding volume. Both come from PharmaResearch, and some patients use them for different goals.
Who performs REJUVIEL treatment at Art of Shine Clinic?
Dr. Park Yoon-soo, Head Director, performs REJUVIEL treatments. She is a REJURAN & REJUVIEL Expert Member (PharmaResearch) and trained as an intern at Asan Medical Center. Read more on our doctors page.
Is there a consultation before REJUVIEL?
Yes. Dr. Park consults with you on the day, before any injection, and explains how many syringes she suggests. You can decide not to proceed. Photos sent on WhatsApp beforehand help with a rough plan.
Are REJUVIEL prices the same for overseas visitors?
Our listed prices are in Korean won, exclude 10% VAT and are paid at the clinic on the day. Event prices change, so please confirm the current price for your dates on WhatsApp. See also our full price list.
