What happens at your Re2O session in Seomyeon

2. Consultation with Dr. Park. She assesses hydration, fine lines and skin sensitivity. She then suggests the amount and whether to pair Re2O with another booster.
3. Preparation and numbing. Your face is cleansed and numbing cream is applied for about 20–30 minutes.
4. The treatment. Injections take about 10–20 minutes. You feel quick pricks and see small raised blebs as the product is placed.
5. Out the door and follow-up. Mild swelling or needle marks may last 1–2 days. Book the next session 2–4 weeks later.

How Dr. Park plans your Re2O treatment

Re2O is a hyaluronic acid booster, so placement is shallow and even. Dr. Park covers the full face in a grid of small deposits, adding a little more where dryness lines show.

Our packages use 5cc or 6cc. The 6cc Re2O-Cell package adds a 3cc stem cell skin injection for regeneration. Sessions are spaced 2–4 weeks apart, and three or more are usually advised.

Results should look like well-hydrated skin, not shine or puffiness. If your skin also needs repair or collagen support, she may suggest combining Re2O with another booster.

• Bruising at some injection points, which fades over several days
• Rarely, infection, allergic reaction or persistent lumps — contact the clinic if anything worsens

Not suitable if you: are pregnant or breastfeeding; have an active skin infection, cold sore or inflamed acne in the area; have a known allergy to any ingredient; have an uncontrolled autoimmune condition; or tend to form keloid scars. Tell your doctor about all medications, especially blood thinners.

Aftercare after Re2O

Downtime after Re2O, and flying home

Most people have small bumps for a few hours and faint needle marks for 1–2 days. Avoid lying face-down or rubbing your skin for 3–4 hours. That day, skip alcohol, saunas, hot baths and hard exercise.

You can usually explore Busan the same day. Wait until the marks fade before a jjimjilbang or hot spring. Most people wait until the next morning for make-up. How is Re2O different from a regular hyaluronic acid filler?

Both contain hyaluronic acid, but they are used in very different ways. Filler is a firmer gel placed deeper to add shape and volume. Re2O is a skin booster placed shallowly in tiny amounts to hydrate the skin itself. You should not look fuller after Re2O; your skin should feel smoother and look more hydrated. This is why boosters need several sessions while filler is often a single visit. Ask Dr. Park if you are unsure which you need. She can explain the difference using your own skin as the example.

Can I combine Re2O with other skin boosters?

How long does Re2O hydration last?

There is no fixed number, because results depend on your skin, climate and routine. Hydration improves step by step across a series of sessions. Dry climates, frequent flights and harsh cleansers can shorten the effect. A gentle routine with sunscreen and moisturiser helps keep it. After the first series, many people return for maintenance when their skin starts to feel tight again. Dr. Park will suggest timing based on how your skin responds. Drinking enough water helps comfort but cannot replace the booster itself.
