Nose Filler in Busan
#NoseBridgeFiller · #DefinedNoseLine · #Non-SurgicalRhinoplasty · #NaturalBridge
Nose filler uses hyaluronic acid to define the bridge and tip line without surgery. The shape is designed around your own nose and facial proportions, so the result looks natural.
Quick answer: Nose filler, often called a non-surgical nose job, uses hyaluronic acid filler to raise a low bridge, smooth small bumps and refine the tip line without surgery. At Art of Shine Clinic in Seomyeon, Busan, it takes about 10–20 minutes after numbing cream, with mild swelling possible but no real downtime. Results usually last about 12–18 months. A nose bridge and tip package with threads starts from KRW 290,000 (excl. 10% VAT).

What is Nose Filler?
Nose filler is an injection of hyaluronic acid gel along the bridge and, where needed, the tip of the nose. The gel adds height and straightness where the nose is low or uneven, so your profile looks more defined. It cannot make a nose smaller, but it can make it look more balanced with the rest of your face.
Nose filler is often combined with columella filler to support tip projection, or with fine threads that lift the tip. If you ever want to reverse the result, hyaluronic acid can be dissolved (see filler dissolving).
How Nose Filler works
The filler is placed deep, close to the bone and cartilage, in small amounts along the planned bridge line. It acts as a soft scaffold that lifts the profile, and the result is visible immediately.
- Consultation: your doctor examines your nose from the front and side, asks about any previous surgery or filler and designs the line.
- Treatment: after numbing cream, small amounts of filler are placed with a fine needle or cannula in about 10–20 minutes.
- After: the shape is checked and gently refined; you can return to your day, avoiding pressure on the nose.
Why patients choose Nose Filler
- A defined bridge without surgery — no incisions and no general anaesthesia.
- Designed to your proportions — the line is planned around your forehead, eyes and lips.
- Immediate result — visible as soon as the short treatment ends.
- Reversible — hyaluronic acid can be dissolved if needed.
Who is Nose Filler for — and when we suggest something else
Good candidates
- You have a low or flat bridge and want a straighter profile without surgery.
- You have a small bump and want the line above and below it smoothed.
- You want a little more tip definition along with the bridge.
- You have not had nose surgery, or Dr. Park has assessed your previous surgery first.
- You would like to see the change in one short visit and return to your trip.
- You understand the result is temporary and would need a top-up later.
We may suggest something else if…
- You want more lift and projection at the tip. Supportive threads such as Hyco or Columella Filler may help more.
- Your nose is already high, or you want it narrower or shorter. Filler cannot reduce size, so it may not be the right tool.
- You have had a nose implant or other nose surgery recently. Dr. Park assesses this carefully and may advise against filler.
- You have old nose filler that has spread or looks wide. We may suggest Filler Dissolving before anything new.
- You have skin infection, a pimple or a cold sore on the nose. Treatment waits until it has healed.
What happens at your Nose Filler session in Seomyeon
- Message us on WhatsApp first. Send front, side and three-quarter photos of your nose, plus your travel dates. Tell us about any past nose filler, threads or surgery.
- Consultation with Dr. Park. She looks at your profile from several angles, your skin thickness and your forehead and chin balance. She checks your history before planning the line.
- Preparation & numbing. Numbing cream is applied for about 20–30 minutes. The planned bridge line is marked while you sit up and look straight ahead.
- The treatment. Injecting takes about 10–20 minutes. You feel pressure along the bridge, and the profile is checked in a mirror as it builds.
- Out the door & follow-up. You can return to your day; mild swelling is possible. Message us urgently about pain, skin colour change or vision change.
How Dr. Park plans your Nose Filler treatment
Nose filler is about line, not volume. Dr. Park plans a bridge that starts at a natural point between the eyes. It should suit your forehead, eyes and chin, not just the nose on its own.
What the listed plan includes
Our listed Mini Nose Bridge & Tip Lift package combines designed nose filler 1cc with 4 HIKO threads. The filler shapes the bridge, while the threads give the tip some structural support. If threads do not suit you, she explains other options at consultation.
Keeping it natural and safe
The nose has delicate blood vessels, so she injects slowly with careful technique. She aims for a slim, straight line rather than a wide or high one. Results usually last about 12–18 months, and a small top-up keeps the shape. For the area between nose and lip, see Columella Filler.
Nose filler results: what to expect and when
- Immediately: the change is visible as soon as treatment ends, often with some swelling.
- Days 2–7: swelling and any bruising settle.
- Weeks 2–4: the filler settles and softens; this is the right time to judge the result.
- Months 12–18: the filler is gradually absorbed and a top-up can maintain the result. Timing varies by person.
Side effects, risks and who should avoid nose filler
Hyaluronic acid filler is generally well tolerated when performed by a doctor. Possible side effects include:
- Swelling, redness, tenderness or bruising at the injection sites (usually settles within a few days)
- Small lumps or slight unevenness, which often soften as the filler settles
- Temporary redness or tenderness along the bridge
- The nose has many small blood vessels, so careful, conservative technique is especially important here
- Rarely, infection, an allergic reaction or delayed lumps
- Very rarely, filler can block a blood vessel. Contact the clinic or seek urgent care immediately for severe pain, skin colour changes or changes in vision
Not suitable if you: are pregnant or breastfeeding; have an infection, cold sore or inflamed skin in the area; are allergic to hyaluronic acid filler ingredients or local anaesthetics such as lidocaine; have a history of severe allergic reactions; or have a bleeding disorder. Tell your doctor if you have had nose surgery, implants or previous nose filler. Tell your doctor about all medications, especially blood thinners, and any previous filler or surgery in the area.
Nose filler vs Hyco nose threads and columella filler: which should you choose?
These three non-surgical options shape different parts of the nose and are often combined.
| Treatment | How it works | Best for | Downtime | Results last |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Nose Filler | Hyaluronic acid shapes the bridge and tip line | A low or uneven bridge | Immediate return; mild swelling possible | About 12–18 months |
| Hyco | Dissolvable threads raise and refine the bridge line | Lift and structure without filler | Mild swelling possible for a few days | About 12–24 months |
| Columella Filler | Hyaluronic acid in the columella supports tip projection | A tip that lacks projection | Immediate return; mild swelling possible | About 12–18 months |
Choose nose filler if the bridge is your main concern. Choose Hyco if you want structure without adding gel. Choose columella filler if the tip looks flat from the side. Many people combine two of these.

Downtime after Nose Filler, and flying home
The first day or two may bring mild swelling along the bridge, and sometimes a small bruise. Avoid pressing on the nose, heavy glasses and sleeping face-down for 1–2 weeks. Light makeup is usually fine from the next day, applied gently without pressing on the bridge.
You can go sightseeing the same day. Skip the sauna and jjimjilbang for at least the first day, and avoid strong heat on the nose for 1–2 weeks. Avoid alcohol and hard exercise on the day. Tell Dr. Park your flight date at consultation. If you can, leave a day or two before flying so we can check the shape. See our aftercare tips for travellers for more.

Is nose filler safe, and what is the main risk?
Nose filler is a common, minimally invasive treatment, but it is not risk-free. The most serious, though rare, risk is filler blocking a blood vessel. In the nose this matters because vessels there connect to the skin and the eye area. Warning signs include severe pain, skin turning pale or blotchy, or any change in vision. These need urgent attention, so tell the clinic or seek emergency care immediately. Careful assessment, slow injection and conservative amounts help reduce risk. Because the gel is hyaluronic acid, it can usually be dissolved if needed. Ask Dr. Park how she manages this before you decide.
Can nose filler make my nose look wider?
It can if too much is used or if it spreads sideways over time. That is why the plan aims for a slim, straight line rather than a tall bridge. Dr. Park keeps the filler in a narrow column along the midline. Pressing on the nose in the first weeks can also push gel out of place. This is the reason for avoiding heavy glasses and face-down sleeping for 1–2 weeks. If you had nose filler elsewhere that now looks wide, mention it at consultation. Old filler may need assessing, and sometimes Filler Dissolving comes first.
Can I get nose filler after a rhinoplasty?
Sometimes, but it needs a careful, individual assessment. Surgery changes the tissue and blood supply in the nose, and implants take up space. Dr. Park will ask when your surgery was, what was done and whether you have an implant. Recent surgery, thin skin over an implant or ongoing redness are reasons to wait or avoid filler. In some cases, a small amount can soften a minor irregularity. In others, she may suggest seeing your surgeon first. Bring any surgical details you have, and send photos on WhatsApp before you travel.
Nose Filler FAQ
How much does nose filler cost in Busan?
At Art of Shine Clinic in Seomyeon, the Mini Nose Bridge & Tip Lift package is KRW 290,000, reduced from KRW 518,000 (excl. 10% VAT). It includes 4 HIKO threads plus designed nose filler 1cc. Your final plan depends on the filler needed and whether threads suit you.
Does nose filler hurt?
Numbing cream is applied for 20–30 minutes before treatment, so most people feel pressure and mild discomfort rather than sharp pain. The injections take about 10–20 minutes, and any tenderness along the bridge usually settles within a day or two.
How long does nose filler last?
Nose filler usually lasts about 12–18 months, longer than in mobile areas because the nose moves very little. The filler is absorbed gradually, and a small top-up can maintain the shape. Longevity varies by person and product.
Can I go sightseeing or fly after nose filler?
Most people return to sightseeing right away. Avoid pressing on the nose, heavy glasses and sleeping face-down for 1–2 weeks, and skip saunas, alcohol and hard exercise on the day. Mild swelling may last a few days. Tell your doctor if you are flying soon.
What is the difference between nose filler and columella filler?
Nose filler mainly shapes the bridge line from between the eyes down to the tip. Columella filler is placed in the column between the nostrils to support and project the tip. Many people combine both, and your doctor will suggest which suits your nose.
Who designs my nose filler?
Dr. Park Yoon-soo, Head Director at Art of Shine Clinic, plans and performs the treatment. She is a Restylane Expert Member (Galderma) and a Belotero Key Doctor (Merz Korea). Read more on our doctors page.
Can I book nose filler for the same day?
Sometimes, depending on the schedule. Message us on WhatsApp with photos and your preferred time, and we will check. We are open Mon–Fri 10:00–20:00 and Sat 10:00–16:00 (KST), closed Sundays, with lunch 13:00–14:00.
Is nose filler reversible?
Yes, in most cases. Nose filler uses hyaluronic acid, which can usually be broken down with hyaluronidase if the shape needs correcting. Dr. Park will discuss this at consultation, and you can read about Filler Dissolving.
