What is Lala Peel?

Lala Peel is a gentle chemical peel that loosens and lifts dead surface cells with a low-irritation formula. Removing this dull layer helps the skin look brighter and feel smoother, and allows skincare to absorb more evenly.

Because it is milder than strong peels, it suits sensitive skin and regular use. At Art of Shine Clinic it is offered as a single care, in a pre-wedding package with toning and Rejuran Healer, and alongside Milk Peel and LDM as a choose-one option.

How Lala Peel works

The peel solution gently dissolves the bonds holding dead cells to the skin surface, so they can be cleared away. The fresher skin underneath reflects light more evenly, which helps tone look clearer and texture feel smoother.

  1. Consultation: your skin type and sensitivity are checked.
  2. Peel: the low-irritation peel is applied, left for a set time and removed.
  3. After: soothing care is applied; mild redness usually fades quickly.

Why patients choose Lala Peel

  • Low irritation — a comfortable peel for most skin types.
  • Texture and tone together — exfoliates and brightens in one session.
  • Suits sensitive skin — gentler than strong chemical peels.
  • Easy to repeat — fits into a regular care routine.

Who is Lala Peel for — and when we suggest something else

Good candidates

  • Your skin looks dull from built-up dead skin cells.
  • Your texture feels rough or uneven.
  • Strong peels have irritated your sensitive skin before.
  • You want a clearer, brighter tone before an event or wedding.
  • You want a gentle peel you can repeat every 2–4 weeks.

We may suggest something else if…

  • Your skin is very oily and congested. Black Peel or Aqua Peel may suit better.
  • You want to treat pigmentation or spots. Pico Toning targets pigment directly.
  • Your skin is red and irritated right now. Cryocell can calm it first.
  • You have sunburn, open wounds, or are using strong retinoids. Wait until your skin settles before peeling.

What happens at your Lala Peel session in Seomyeon

  1. Message us on WhatsApp first. Send your skin concerns, current skincare products and any past reaction to peels.

  3. Preparation & numbing. No separate anesthesia is needed. Your skin is cleansed and prepared.
  4. The treatment. The peel is applied and removed in about 20–30 minutes. Most people feel mild tingling or warmth.
  5. Out the door & follow-up. You can return to daily life immediately, though mild redness is possible. Book again in 2–4 weeks for regular care.

How Dr. Park plans your Lala Peel treatment

Lala Peel is a low-irritation peel for exfoliation and tone. Dr. Park adjusts how the peel is used based on your sensitivity. Sensitive or dry areas are treated with extra care.

It also fits into wider plans. Our AOS Wedding Package combines toning, LHALA Peel, Rejuran Healer, Hydration Injection and Dermotoxin. The peel refreshes the surface, while other steps work on tone and skin quality.

Sessions every 2–4 weeks are recommended. This spacing lets your skin renew between peels and keeps irritation low.

Lala Peel results: what to expect and when

  • Right after: skin feels smoother; mild redness may appear.
  • Days 1–3: redness fades; light flaking is possible in dry skin.
  • Weeks 1–2: tone looks clearer and texture smoother.
  • After several sessions: results are easier to maintain (varies by person).

Side effects, risks and who should avoid Lala Peel

Lala Peel is designed to be gentle, but any peel can cause:

  • Temporary redness, warmth or tingling
  • Dryness or light flaking for a few days
  • Increased sun sensitivity for a short time
  • Rarely, irritation or a breakout

Not suitable if you: have an active skin infection, open wounds or a flare of eczema or rosacea in the area; are currently sunburned; have recently used isotretinoin or strong retinoids; or have had a bad reaction to peels before. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or have very sensitive skin.

Downtime after Lala Peel, and flying home

You can return to daily life right away. Mild redness is possible and usually fades quickly. Avoid heavy makeup on the day. Skip saunas, jjimjilbang and hot baths until the next day. Moisturise well with a hydrating cream.

Freshly peeled skin is more sensitive to the sun, so wear sunscreen while sightseeing. Flying is generally fine. If you have a wedding or event, plan the peel a few days before rather than the same day. See our aftercare tips for travellers.

Is Lala Peel safe for sensitive skin?

It is designed as a low-irritation peel, so many people with sensitive skin tolerate it well. Still, sensitive skin varies a lot. Dr. Park checks your skin and history before treatment. Tell her about any past reactions to peels or acids. Also mention products such as retinoids or exfoliating toners. If your skin is red or irritated on the day, she may delay the peel. Calming care can come first instead. Mild tingling during the peel is normal. Strong burning is not, so tell the team at once if you feel it.

How long before a wedding should I get Lala Peel?

Plan it a few days to a week before the event, not on the day itself. That gives any mild redness time to fade. It also lets your skin settle and look its brightest. For a longer plan, sessions every 2–4 weeks in the months before work well. Our wedding package combines the peel with toning and boosters. Dr. Park can help you schedule each step. Avoid trying new skincare products right before the event. If you are also having injections, discuss the order of each step.

Is LHALA Peel the same as Lala Peel?

Yes, you may see both spellings. Our price list uses "LHALA Peel" and "LaLa Peel" for the same treatment. It is a low-irritation peel for exfoliation and tone. You can ask for either name when you book. It is included in our choose-one offers alongside Milk Peel, Aqua Peel and LDM. If you are unsure which to choose, message us on WhatsApp. Dr. Park can recommend one at consultation. The price and session details are the same whichever spelling you use.
