Where to Get Rejuran in Busan: A Foreigner's Guide
Rejuran is one of the treatments international visitors ask about most when they come to Korea, and Busan is an easy place to have it, with clinics in central Seomyeon and around Haeundae. Because Rejuran works best as a series and leaves small bumps for a day or two, it pays to plan where and when you have it. This guide explains what to look for, what it costs and how to fit it into a trip.
Quick answer: Rejuran is a Korean skin booster containing PN (polynucleotide) purified from salmon DNA, injected in many small points to support skin repair, texture and elasticity. In Busan, a central clinic such as one in Seomyeon is convenient because it is reached directly from the airport, Busan Station and Haeundae by subway. A session takes about 10–20 minutes after 20–30 minutes of numbing cream, bumps settle in 1–2 days, and a series of three or more sessions 2–4 weeks apart is usually advised. In Seomyeon, Rejuran packages start from KRW 319,000 before 10% VAT.
What is Rejuran?
Rejuran is made by PharmaResearch, a Korean company. Its key ingredient, PN, is a DNA-derived substance that is thought to support the skin’s own repair processes and fibroblast activity. Rather than adding volume like a filler, it aims to make skin healthier and more resilient over several sessions.
The main versions
- Rejuran Healer : the classic PN booster for thin, damaged or sensitised skin, fine lines and loss of bounce.
- Rejuran HB : PN combined with hyaluronic acid, for skin that is both dry and tired-looking.
- Eye Rejuran : a dedicated, smaller amount for the delicate under-eye area.
It is worth being clear about the evidence. PN boosters are widely used in Korea and many people like the change in skin quality, but the research base is smaller than for long-established treatments such as Botox or hyaluronic acid filler, and results vary from person to person. Treat any promise of dramatic change with caution.
Who Rejuran suits, and who should choose something else
- Good fit: skin that feels thin, fragile or slow to recover after sun, stress or lasers; early fine lines and rough texture; people who want gradual change without altering face shape.
- Dryness first: Rejuran HB or a hydrating booster such as Re2O may suit you better.
- Texture and pores first: a collagen-stimulating booster such as Juvelook Skin is often a closer match.
- Sagging first: energy-based lifting such as Thermage FLX or Ulthera works on a different layer.
- Avoid or wait: if you have a fish or salmon allergy, an active skin infection or cold sore in the area, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or tend to form keloid scars.
Where to have Rejuran in Busan
Rejuran is offered widely across Busan. For a visitor, the more useful question is which location is easiest to return to, because a series of sessions is what makes the biggest difference.
- Seomyeon is the city’s main transfer hub, where subway Lines 1 and 2 meet. It is one change from Gimhae Airport (light rail to Sasang, then Line 2), one line from Busan Station (Line 1) and a direct ride from Haeundae (Line 2).
- Haeundae is convenient if you are staying by the beach and do not plan to move around much.
The clinic described on this site is on the 8th floor of 48 Seomyeon-ro, Busanjin-gu (the Burger King building), about 3 minutes’ walk from Seomyeon Station Exit 7. It is open Monday–Friday 10:00–20:00 and Saturday 10:00–16:00 KST, with lunch from 13:00 to 14:00, and closed on Sundays.

What happens during a session
- Consultation. The doctor checks skin thickness, texture, fine lines and recent procedures, and asks about allergies, especially to fish.
- Numbing. The skin is cleansed and numbing cream is applied for about 20–30 minutes.
- Injections. Rejuran is placed in many small, shallow deposits over about 10–20 minutes. PN boosters can sting a little more than some others, and small raised blebs form.
- Aftercare. You leave with instructions and pay at the clinic.
Results, downtime and aftercare
- First 1–2 days: small bumps flatten out; needle marks and mild swelling fade, sometimes a little slower under the eyes.
- Weeks 2–4: skin often begins to look healthier and more even.
- After three sessions: elasticity, texture and fine lines usually show the clearest change.
Aftercare tips
- Stay upright and avoid rubbing the area for about 3–4 hours.
- On the day, skip saunas and jjimjilbang, hot baths, strenuous exercise and alcohol.
- Leave make-up until the next day and keep skin moisturised.
Possible side effects include redness, tenderness and small bruises. Rarely, infection, allergic reaction or persistent lumps can occur; contact the clinic if anything worsens.
Planning Rejuran around a trip
Light sightseeing is usually fine the same day, and sunglasses help after eye treatment. If you are only in Busan once, one session still starts the process, but plan follow-up sessions 2–4 weeks apart where you can, either on a return visit or by discussing maintenance with the doctor. Avoid having Rejuran the day before an important photo or event, and tell the doctor your flight date at the consultation.
Frequently asked questions
Can I have just one Rejuran session on holiday?
Yes. One session can improve how your skin looks and feels, but most people see clearer change after a series of three or more. Ask the doctor what is realistic for your skin and timeline.
Does Rejuran hurt?
Numbing cream is applied first, but many people still feel stinging and pressure. Comfort varies by area and skin thickness, and you can ask for a break at any time.
I am allergic to fish. Can I have Rejuran?
Tell the clinic before booking. Rejuran contains salmon-derived PN, so caution is sensible. If there is real doubt, a booster without PN, such as Re2O or Juvelook Skin, may be suggested instead.
